Ms. Claire

Hi! My name is Claire, and I'm excited to be your child's teacher in the Poppy classroom this year!

I have always loved working with kids and have had a joyful last few years teaching kindergarten and 2nd grade in Asheville, NC. I graduated from the University of Cincinnati in 2020 with a degree in Early Childhood Education. I have always been drawn to the Montessori philosophy and its intellectual, social, and emotional benefits for young learners.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time outdoors—backpacking, rock climbing, or training for my next half marathon!

I am eagerly looking forward to a fantastic year ahead leading the Poppy classroom!
