Head Montessori Specialist

Dina is TMA’s Head Montessori Specialist, with more than 22 years of experience in Montessori teaching and training across both private and public-school settings. She oversees TMA’s Montessori curriculum and leads the Montessori Specialists, ensuring that students receive the best possible foundation as they begin their educational journey.

Dina is responsible for weekly team meetings with the Montessori Specialists, ordering Montessori materials, setting up classrooms to optimize the learning environment, providing teacher training and support, conducting formal observations and evaluations, and creating and implementing curriculum. She also leads the Trinity Montessori Teacher Academy, where she supports and mentors educators as they deepen their understanding of Montessori philosophy and practice. 

Originally from Ohio, Dina and her family moved to South Carolina 26 years ago. She and her husband have three daughters, are proud grandparents to four grandchildren, and share their home with two golden retrievers, Hazy and Petrie. 

For Dina, one of the most rewarding aspects of Montessori education is witnessing children form meaningful connections with their environment and grow into confident, capable, and independent thinkers. She is equally passionate about supporting and mentoring teachers, helping them develop a deep understanding of Montessori philosophy, and guiding them as they grow into confident educators who share a genuine love for the Montessori approach.
