Primary Montessori Specialist

Linda is TMA’s primary-kindergarten Montessori Specialist. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education from Winthrop University and over 30 years of teaching experience with children 3-6yrs old. She is both National Board certified and Montessori certified. Some of Linda’s responsibilities include providing ongoing Montessori training and support for our teachers, observing and assisting in our kindergarten and primary classrooms, generating and presenting Montessori materials in classrooms, providing ongoing teacher training, conducting formal student and teacher observations, and partnering with parents to support ongoing student academic achievement and social-emotional development.

A native of South Carolina, Linda enjoys spending time and keeping active with her husband, daughter, their dog Zoey, family, and friends. Her passion for Montessori started in 2000 as she began her formal Montessori training. She loves watching children reach their highest potential and looks forward to working with all our students and families.
