DSS/HR Specialist

​Jennifer Rossi is TMA's Department of Social Services and Human Resources specialist. She has a Master of Science Degree in Management & Leadership, a Bachelor of Science Degree in Behavioral Science, earned her Primary Montessori Certification, and has taught both Transitional Kindergarten and Kindergarten in Reggio Emilia and Montessori schools before moving into administration. 

Jennifer ensures TMA and its staff remain in compliance with all South Carolina state laws and regulations through policy and procedure development/implementation, talent acquisition/interviewing, staff onboarding/offboarding, benefits administration, staff training/development, and routine drills/inspections. In addition to compliance, Jennifer also oversees SC DHEC regulations and requirements pertaining to student immunizations and childcare illness policies.

Jennifer began her career working with children over 25 years ago in her hometown of Philadelphia, PA. In 2007, her husband was transferred to Charlotte, NC where she became an active member of her community. She led community outreach, was elected to the school improvement council, worked as a special needs education advocate, and was the Director of Education for a local Fort Mill After-School Outreach Program.  

Jennifer, her husband, and two sons reside in Fort Mill, SC.  She looks forward to another great year at TMA!
