Elizabeth Romero and her family relocated from New York City to Indian Land, SC, in 2017. Elizabeth has over 15 years of experience as a passionate and dedicated educator with extensive experience in early childhood education. With a deep understanding of the Montessori philosophy and methodology, Elizabeth is committed to creating a nurturing and stimulating environment where young children can thrive.
Elizabeth has a degree in Early Childhood Education and completed her NAMC Montessori certification. This comprehensive knowledge allows Elizabeth to design and implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum that fosters children's intellectual, physical, social, and emotional growth.
Elizabeth began her journey at TMA in 2021 as a Lead Teacher. In 2022, she joined the administration team as the school administrator, where she took on additional responsibilities that included school tours, coordinating events, onboarding new families, and training new staff members. Elizabeth enjoys being in all classrooms as she observes children and teachers. Observing children and teachers allows for a deeper understanding of their strengths and needs.
Elizabeth is responsible for the overall vision and direction of the school. She makes strategic decisions, fosters a positive school culture, and ensures the success of students, teachers, and staff. Elizabeth is excited to continue engaging with parents and families to build strong partnerships and support children's learning development during their journey at TMA.
