Assistant Director

Gayathri Arunkumar started her career with a Master's in Business Administration at Hewlett Packard. She gained over a decade of experience in analytics, business intelligence, and financial planning, and she has exceptional customer service skills. 

After her children began attending a Montessori school, Gayathri quickly fell in love with the Montessori approach. She decided to pursue her certification in Montessori, as well as a degree in Education. Since 2014, Gayathri has worked in various school positions, such as Montessori lead teacher, Trainer, Specialist, Head of Administration, and Parent Relations and Academic Coordinator. Gayathri had the wonderful opportunity to teach a diverse group of children, including those with special needs. Being around children instantly lifts Gayathri's spirits, and she loves to work closely with families to make a difference in their child's educational journey!

Gayathri relocated to the US, North Carolina, in 2022 from India with her husband and two children. Gayathri's husband, Arunkumar, heads Sutherland's Finance Business process services. Her daughter is pursuing a Master's in Clinical Psychology, and her son is a high schooler. Gayathri has a rich multicultural background, having lived in Australia and Singapore and visiting various countries worldwide! Gayathri moved into the Administration team early this year after being a lead teacher at Trinity Montessori Academy since January 2023. She looks forward to partnering with all the families walking into Trinity Montessori Academy in her role as Assistant Director.
