Gayathri Arunkumar

Gayathri Arunkumar began her career with a Master’s in Business Administration at Hewlett Packard and over a decade of experience in analytics, business intelligence, and financial planning. Her exceptional customer service skills and dedication to excellence have been hallmarks of her professional journey.

After her children attended a Montessori school, Gayathri fell in love with the Montessori approach. She pursued Montessori certification and a degree in Education, and since 2014, she has held roles including lead teacher, trainer, specialist, head of administration, and parent relations and academic coordinator. She has taught a diverse range of children, including those with special needs, and thrives on working closely with families to support each child’s growth.

Gayathri relocated to North Carolina from India in 2022 with her husband, Arunkumar, and two children. She brings a rich multicultural perspective from living in Australia, Singapore, and traveling worldwide.

At Trinity Montessori Academy Main campus, Gayathri began in 2023 as a lead Montessori teacher, served as an Assistant Director in 2024, and now steps into her role as Director at Rock Hill. Her passion, experience, and warm leadership promise to create a nurturing, inspiring, and joyful environment for students, families, and staff alike.
